To help lead our organizations overall growth and direction, were looking to hire a highly-experienced individual to be head our entire Import operations teams in leading all teams in a synchronous direction. Key Responsibilities Responsible for engaging with key accounts and clients regarding pricing, service expectations, and strategic planning Proactively work with Senior Business Development Manager to engage with potential clients, opportunities, and partners Set clear strategic action plan to ensure import division stays competitive in price and service levels Control and communicate monthly performance volume, profitability, sales potentials with entire Import team and leadership Prepare and submit business plans, budgets, and schedules Communicate department progress, needs and updates to leadership Review financial status and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability Revise and formulate policies and promote implementation Facilitate creation and setting of key objectives as it relates to and aligns with organizational goals Responsible for communicating hiring needs to HR Ensure teams conform to established practices, regulations, and policies set by the company Reports directly to Senior Director of Operations Requirements Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field 9+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain 8+ years of experience of working in multiple operational functions and principles, including, finance, customer service, supply chain, operations, and human resources (preferred) 8+ years in conflict management and business negotiation processes Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed up by previous professional success Strong work ethic Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics Strong ethical leadership abilities Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong people skills Proficient in Korean (preferred)
