Job Description

Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator for a well-known Distribution Center located in Uxbridge, MA. The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of forklift operating experience, along with the ability to work with bar code scanning and inventory control devices. IMMEDIATE OPENINGS, MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Location: Uxbridge, MAPay rate: $17.50 p/h, plus shift differentialShift: Sat, Sun, Mon 6am-6pm Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator:
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Forklift Operator Requirements and skills
  • Proven experience as forklift operator and familiarity with safety regulations
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs or more safely throughout the day
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities quickly
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Basic math skills
