Raw Material and Quality Supervisor

Schedule: Full Time/On-site
Compensation: $60k-$70k DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage the use of raw materials in the most cost-effective way utilizing a least cost charge program
'Vulcan'.
Coordinates the usage of raw materials, parts and finished products between the source and final
destination.
Monitors material requirements and communicate with purchasing, production, sales, and warehouses.
Prepare, execute quality control activities including tests and evaluations. Analyze and interpret results of these activities.
Report and analyze non-conformities with raw materials, make recommendations and execute corrective actions as defined by Technical Management.
Manage the daily operations of quality control by ensuring that control processes, testing systems and audit/review systems are delivering desired KPIs. Making sure data is gathered to properly identify problems and determine root cause of issues.
Using benchmarking, identify areas for continuous improvement.
Supervise and manage assigned team(s) day-to-day operations, develop and implement an operational plan and objectives for the Spectrometer Lab, within established guidelines and policies, in order to realize the agreed objectives and targets.
- Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience in quality, raw material, or related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of manufacturing industry experience.
Solid background in manufacturing quality and raw materials.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
