The Job as a Recruiter
  • This is a sales job
  • You will be a full desk recruiter (also known as a 360 recruiter), which means you are going to be responsible for taking ownership of the entire recruitment process from start to finish
  • A huge part of your role will be doing business development - you will identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with decision makers at a variety of companies to sell your recruitment services to them
  • You will also be responsible for sourcing and placing your own candidates that fit the criteria for what your client needs on their team
  • You can expect to spend a lot of your time on the phone - you'll be cold calling, running client meetings, doing sales pitches, screening candidates, etc.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment where each day looks a little different, with new challenges to face and new goals to achieve

We used to call our training a graduate program, and we of course are still really interested in speaking to graduates however we have recently changed our wording to ensure that people know that we welcome applicants from all backgrounds for the role.
