JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a a rapidly growing global investment firm. The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager with a focus on SEC reporting to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting and compliance with SEC regulations for the firm. This is a hybrid opportunity in the firm's New York City office.

Responsibilities-

  • Lead the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, respectively, in compliance with SEC regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, legal, and finance teams, to gather necessary information for SEC filings.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, including the evaluation of their impact on financial reporting.

Qualifications-

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with a focus on SEC reporting, preferably in the investment management industry and experience in a top tier public accounting firm
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations, including experience with Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and other SEC filings.
