We are actively seeking a Land Development Staff Engineer II to join our dedicated group of professionals in State College, PA. As a Staff Engineer II you will work closely with Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s) and other Staff Professionals to perform a variety of engineering related tasks to include:
  • Designing portions of projects
  • Researching code requirements for project sites
  • Preparing drainage, storm water management, erosion & sedimentation control and other reports required for project permits and approvals
  • Performing research and writing reports
  • Performing inspections of job sites
  • Monitoring work in progress according to scope of work
  • Working with drafters to reduce designs into completed drawings
  • Reviewing shop drawings
  • Performing construction observation
  • Preparing construction cost opinions
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • E.I.T. certification required, P.E. certification a plus
  • Minimum 2 -6 years' experience to include:
    • NPDES
    • Erosion & Sediment Control
    • Subdivision
    • Land Development
    • Municipal Engineering
    • Storm Water Management
  • Previous experience with a consulting engineering firm preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D and various engineering software
  • Team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid US driver's license is required)
  • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
