Supply Chain Solutions Architect

FULLY REMOTE

Pay: $80-105/hour

***This Is A 1 Year Contract to Hire Role (will convert to a permanent position)***

As the Supply Chain Systems Solution Architect you will join the team working on projects pertaining to logistics and finance operations supporting strategic planning, system architecture design, solution design, governance/ compliance, and optimization

Duties Planning: Collaborate with business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, goals, and requirements. Translate business strategies into technology solutions and create roadmaps for implementing architectural changes and improvements Architecture Design: Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, aligning with the overall business and technology strategies. Adapt and improve standards, guidelines, and best practices for system design, integration, and data flow. and Interoperability: Collaborate with technology teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration supply chain systems/processes. Identify opportunities for data sharing, interoperability, and real-time visibility, including suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and retail stores. and Compliance: Ensure compliance with architectural standards, industry regulations, data privacy, and security requirements. Ensure that the developed solution architecture blueprints are clearly understood by partners across the organization, and obtain approvals from architecture review board. Analyze and evaluate supply chain processes with understanding of KPIs. Design and implement innovative solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, improve order accuracy, reduce maintenance, and enhance customer experience Evaluation and Selection: Research and assess emerging technologies, solutions, and tools that can enhance business goals. Evaluate vendor offerings and make recommendations for technology adoption, considering factors such as scalability, interoperability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Analytics and Insights: Define data architecture and analytics capabilities to enable real-time visibility, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making. Leverage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and innovation Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, operations managers, technology teams, and external partners, to gain alignment on priorities and initiatives. Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. design: Achieve growth/modernization goals and ensure adherence to architectural standards. Which include but are not limited to defining impacted systems, defining strategy for upgrade/technical work, deployment strategy, environment strategy, monitoring, logging, cost, containerization strategies, DR (Disaster Recovery) impacts, migration path, and future upgrades. Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and post-deployment support. Contribute in developing a long-term supply chain regionalization strategy to separate data by geographical regions and provide a solution to address the long-term goals

Required Skills degree in Computer Science or related field years of experience in various roles of technical leadership within a large-scale organization have: Supply Chain systems with primary exposure to Logistics and Finance operations (Turvo / Manhattan, Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, Snowflake) to have: Salesforce, Payment processing systems, Reporting systems such as Tableau, RPA experience as a supply chain architect or in a similar role with a retail organization in Logisitcs domain, preferably food industry with event-driven integration patterns (ie. Apache Kafka) in supply chain technologies and solutions, such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Payment Processing Systems, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), integration with Contact Center / Customer Service. with major cloud providers such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure with integration technologies and standards, such as API and EDI to enable seamless data exchange between systems and partners. with integrating CI/CD practices into teams
