As an Epic Cupid Certified Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation, optimization, and support of the Epic Cupid application within our healthcare organization. Your expertise in Epic Cupid, a specialized electronic health record (EHR) system for managing cardiology-related workflows, will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our cardiology department and providing exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clinicians, IT professionals, and project managers, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our cardiology services.
Responsibilities:
Epic Cupid Implementation:

Lead or support the implementation of the Epic Cupid system, including the configuration, customization, and integration with other Epic modules and third-party applications, as per the organization's requirements.

Workflow Analysis:

Collaborate with cardiology department staff to analyze existing workflows, identify areas for improvement, and recommend changes to streamline processes and maximize system utilization.

System Optimization:

Continuously assess the Epic Cupid application's performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement best practices to enhance system functionality and user experience.

User Training and Support:

Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they understand how to effectively navigate and utilize the Epic Cupid system. Provide ongoing support and respond to user inquiries and issues promptly.

Testing and Validation:

Design and execute test plans to validate system changes, upgrades, and new features. Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure the system meets quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, workflows, and system changes. Generate regular reports on system performance, issue resolution, and user feedback.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Investigate and resolve system issues and anomalies, coordinating with technical teams and Epic support when necessary. Implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.

Security and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and data security standards in all aspects of the Epic Cupid system, including user access control and data privacy.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in the Epic Cupid application and related technologies. Attend training sessions and conferences to enhance expertise and knowledge.

Project Management:

Participate in project planning and execution related to system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Epic Cupid certification is mandatory, with a proven track record of implementing and supporting Epic Cupid.
Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in cardiology or cardiovascular departments, is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate user needs into system requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Project management experience, including planning, coordination, and documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.
Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA).
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Epic certifications in related modules, such as Epic Ambulatory or Epic Orders, would be an advantage.
Experience with data migration and system interfaces in an Epic environment.
Knowledge of clinical cardiology workflows and procedures.
