Cornerstone Mechanical Services, Inc. is an industrial service company in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We have been in business for 28+ years and pride ourselves on being the best investment our customers can make for their industrial rotating equipment needs. We are a Christian-owned & operated business and make every effort to represent Christ in our work and relationships. We have seen significant growth in the past few years and are looking to continue to expand our reach in DFW and surrounding areas.

We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate would be someone who is looking to join a growing team and is willing and able to be flexible, keeping an open mind to change, as well as make value-adding suggestions and contributions to continuously improve overall business.

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will be a part of the company's Leadership Team, and will govern all aspects of the Sales & Marketing team. The V.P. will provide cultural direction and push for the continuous development of the business. This requires a heavy focus on growing leadership and finding ways to break down barriers for team members’ goals. The V.P. will be accountable for company revenue and maintaining company alignment with industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor S&M team in compliance with the companies adopted operating system, EOS.
  • Accountable for S&M Team training and leadership development (including recruiting/hiring as needed).
  • Accountable for Cornerstone’s lead generation & customer engagement process; including managing and prioritizing sales opportunities.
  • Accountable for Cornerstone’s marketing strategy & identifing marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements.
  • Drive and update priority items on the Cornerstone Vision Tracker as it pertains to the S&M team.
  • Accountable for forming, implementing, and maintaining sales & marketing work processes.
  • Accountable for sales KPI creation and reporting (i.e., revenue, quote conversion rates, etc.) to Leadership Team.
  • Accountable for S&M team’s new technology training to provide customers with an in-depth understanding of Cornerstone’s capabilities.
  • Attend workshops/conferences to gain knowledge and implement industry best work processes within the S&M department.
  • Increase customer base through proactive lead generation and relationship building.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by engaging regularly to understand their needs and provide support in line with our core values and core focus.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Sales & Marketing leadership position.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing and/or selling responsiblities for a service company.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficient PC skills (MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc.) and willing to learn other software applications.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge and ability to implement sales processes, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and sales analytics tools.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to attend industry events and meet with prospective customers.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field.
  • Experience working in an organization running on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
  • Experience in sales for an industrial service company (i.e., Mechanical Contractor, Millwright Service Company, Electrical Contractor, etc.)
