Job Description:
CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL FOR PERMANENT PLACEMENT.
M-F, 8:30AM-5:30PM PHONE INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONSITE ONLY MUST BE LOCAL CANDIDATES
These roles will require sourcing and not a post/pray mentality, agency environment experience is preferred, strong communication (written and verbal)
Working through open requisitions (30-40) in portfolio, responding to hiring manager inquiries, auditing requisitions for follow-up, sourcing/researching candidates for open roles
Flexibility, communication, can take on new challenges/learn new process Our team was recently awarded a large government contract and we will need to staff ~800 additional positions next year on top of the ~3,500 that we fill annually for the business.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for effective and efficient recruitment activities. Maintains active requisition load for high volume, repetitive jobs, campus recruiting, internships, and/or entry-level professional roles.
Fills open positions while remaining compliant with corporate policies and procedures and applicable government activities. Recognizes and utilizes recruitment practices that will produce a diverse candidate pool.
Develop staffing plans and pipelining of active and passive talent to generate qualified candidate pools, conduct in-depth screens, and assess for levels of interest, qualifications and salary expectations.
Conduct basic sourcing efforts, when needed.
Provide support and advises management regarding recruiting plans. Assists management with selection criteria and salary decisions. Trains new management on compliance with corporate policy, employment laws, and regulations.
Utilize recruitment tools such as the Human Capital Management (HCM) system for workflow tracking, candidate disposition, offer extension, and new hire documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure all applicable pre-employment checks are completed.
Experience:
2 years human resources experience, preferably with some experience within a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition capacity.
Skills:
Good judgment skills required.
Effective customer service, presentation, and organizational skills required. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation and grammar skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills required. Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office. Preferred Software and Other Tools: Working knowledge of database software knowledge of access. Work Environment: Typical office environment. Work may involve some travel between office buildings and some out of town travel. Occasional transport of materials.
Education:
Bachelor's degree Any Major or 4 years of human resources related work experience may be substituted for a 4 year degree.
