Job Title: Recruiting Manager
Job Summary:
The
Recruiting Manager
is responsible for leading the recruitment efforts of the organization, including developing sourcing strategies, managing the recruitment team, and ensuring the successful placement of qualified candidates. They collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, streamline recruitment processes, and implement best practices to attract and retain top talent.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve recruitment goals and objectives.
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and establish recruitment priorities.
Review job descriptions, provide guidance on job postings, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Conduct regular meetings with hiring managers to provide updates on recruitment activities, discuss candidate pipelines, and address any staffing challenges.
Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Coordinate and conduct recruitment events, such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruiting activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies, vendors, colleges, universities, and other talent sources.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process, including EEOC guidelines and ADA requirements.
Analyze recruitment metrics and provide reports to management on key performance indicators, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Collaborate with the HR team to streamline recruitment processes, enhance candidate experience, and improve overall efficiency.
Participate in workforce planning activities and contribute to the development of recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in recruiting and talent acquisition
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, as well as best practices in recruitment and selection.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
