Cashiers are the front line of the retail world. Successful cashiers handle all basic register operations, keep the cash wrap area clean and orderly and interact with customers consistent with OTooles core values.

JOB DUTIES

* General operation of the cash registers and POS system ringing up sales, processing returns, entering gift certificates, etc.

* Help move lines smoothly and efficiently

* Ability to effectively communicate with lead cashier and fellow cashiers

* Answer phones

* Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, communicating that customers

* Help out with other store tasks. i.e. watering house plants, sweeping, making boxes, etc.

* Assist with customer service whenever possible
