Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative SUMMARY This position is responsible for being the first line of contact for Harcros. This may include email, mail, telephone, web portal, or in person by internal & external customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities may vary by location. * This position must be able to handle a large volume of emails, phone calls and sales order processing. * Will be the liaison between customers and internal & external associates. * Processing orders for material or merchandise received from customers. * Responsible for interacting with customers & suppliers via email, phone call, and web portal. * Participate in general office duties such as filing, ordering office supplies, sort and deliver mail, and more. * Enter orders into computer, check inventory levels, generating shipping papers, and check customer credit. * Constant communication with customers regarding their order status. * Being the point of contact for external & internal departments such as customers, suppliers, warehouse, shipping & freight carriers. * Check orders for accuracy. Gather & attaches required additional documentation. * Prepare & process invoices, issue credit memos, and assist Credit Dept. by checking customer payment status. * Processes vendor invoices, freight bills, product returns, freight claims, and corrected billings. * Maintains signature file of additional forms for customer order release. * Schedule production of product as necessary. * Coordinates shipments to other branch facilities and customers.
