Rental Coordinator

The Rental Coordinator will assist sales reps in planning jobs. Job planning consists of creating 3D lift plans, compiling plan support documents, confirming scheduled equipment. The Rental Coordinator shall maintain/update crane, equipment, and operator certifications. Assist safety director by providing employee information for badging and site orientations. Take preliminary job information from customers and forward the information onto a salesman for a site visit. The Rental Coordinator usually works under limited supervision and expected to work as long as necessary to complete his/her job responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the salesman with job planning.
  • Creates lift plans.
  • Maintain crane and personnel credentials.
  • Entering customer and job information into FC&C (Company software operating system).
  • Assist in providing customer requested safety, orientation, and site-specific access information.
  • Employee timesheet and payroll time recoding.
  • Apply for permits, traffic control, and 3 rd party inspections.
  • Enter purchase order request and subsequent receiver data for vendor invoices.
  • Assists dispatcher in coordinating jobs.
  • New hire data entry into FC&C.
  • Arrange reservations for employee hotel accommodations. Code hotel expenses for payment.
  • OCCIP and CCIP documentation and tracking.
  • Answer phones.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
  • Must be proficient with basic computer skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Must have proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Desired:
  • Prefer candidates with at least an associate degree and 2 years of experience working in an office environment.
  • Proficient in 3D Lift planner software.

Work Environment:
Majority of time spent in an office environment. The employee may be required to wear appropriate PPE equipment when exposed to external environment. The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures or other inclement weather.
