My client is a dynamic fintech start-up poised to disrupt the financial industry with their innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology; focused on Business Finance and shaping the way SMB's utilise software. They're seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join the team as Chief Financial Officer. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of the company and drive success in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
As CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial strategy and operations; playing a critical role in driving financial performance, optimizing capital allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Working closely with the executive team, you will provide strategic guidance and insights to support their long-term growth objectives and maximize shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, including budgeting, capital allocation, and scenario analysis.
Evaluate potential investment opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive growth and expansion.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team to support decision-making and drive business performance.
Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution of financial goals and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Demonstrable and deep experience with the FinTech space; owning the finance function at a high-growth start-up.
Deep understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory environment, with a focus on fintech trends and innovations.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and driving impact in the fintech industry.
