Our client is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Investment Accounting to join their dynamic team. As a trusted recruitment partner, we are tasked with identifying top talent to drive the company's investment accounting initiatives forward. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within the investment accounting function. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all investment accounting activities, including financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance. Manage a team of skilled professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to optimize performance and achieve departmental objectives. Develop and implement robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain accuracy and integrity in investment accounting processes. Collaborate closely with finance, treasury, and risk management teams to support investment-related initiatives and strategic decision-making. Serve as a subject matter expert on investment accounting matters, providing insights, guidance, and recommendations to internal stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in investment accounting to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA designation preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in investment accounting within the insurance or financial services industry. Proven track record of leadership and management, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence. Deep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, with specific expertise in investment accounting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to driving results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
