is partnering with a leading medical center in Bristol, TN, to find an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This challenging and rewarding role involves providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, requiring advanced nursing skills and expertise.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Perform thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and document accurately.
Titrate and monitor vasoactive drips, including but not limited to, Levophed, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and/or Vasopressin.
Utilize advanced life support techniques, such as mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
Educate patients and families on their condition, treatment plan, and recovery process.
Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
NIHSS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work a 36/48 schedule
