We are looking to hire for a Janitorial role for a company in Milford, CT

Janitorial Pay: $20/hr

Janitorial Hours: Flexible (Part-time)

Janitorial Position Summary:

Under the supervision of Human Resources, the Janitor position consists of keeping the facility clean and in orderly condition. The Janitor will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls, removing rubbish, and reporting any broken or damaged equipment.

Janitorial Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Follow procedures approved by OSHA for use of chemical cleaners.
  • Follow procedures for use of any power equipment to prevent damage and injury.
  • Empty trash cans throughout the facility.
  • Clean and supply restrooms and locker room.
  • Maintain cleaning logs and other paperwork as required.
Janitorial Essential Job Requirements:
  • Past experience in a Janitorial or Cleaning preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
