The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, managing medication therapy, and educating patients on their medications. Our team has been staffing hospitals for the last 33 years and is now recruiting for high-paying short-term positions. *Duties* * Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. * Provide medication administration support and guidance to healthcare staff. * Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and outcomes. * Collaborate with healthcare providers in critical care settings to optimize patient treatment plans. * Manage pain management protocols, including acute pain management strategies. * Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals. * Participate in managed care initiatives to improve patient health outcomes. * Stay current with pharmacy residency training and post-residency requirements as applicable. * Provide education to patients regarding their medications, potential side effects, and proper usage. * Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions. *Qualifications* * Bachelor’s degree (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. * Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. * Experience in critical care or emergency room (ER) settings is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with pain management practices and protocols. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacy practice. * Completion of a pharmacy residency program is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry advancements.
