Responsibilities

Responsible for the procurement of capital equipment, other assigned materials, and services while developing CapEX strategies with cost reduction initiatives. Review purchase requisitions for CAPEX projects to ensure all necessary information, documentation and required signatures are present. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting the agreement, issue resolution, negotiating terms and prices, and approving and executing the final signed contract. Manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing process including sourcing new vendors, data and market analysis, strategy development, pricing negotiations and contract review. Develop long-term partnerships with world-class suppliers to source direct materials while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers for RFIs and RFPs. Perform cost benefit analysis and determine opportunities for savings, project efficiency, and strategic sourcing initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop scope of work and bid documents for RFPs, serving as the system expert and providing coaching and support as necessary. Continuously develop and optimize supplier relationships to gather information in an effort to source the best quality materials at the optimum price at proper lead-times to meet business requirements. Generate monthly reports and identify areas for cost containment/reductions in all areas of ownership as it relates to purchasing. Conduct day-to-day purchasing for multiple departments in accordance to HARIBO’s policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field is required Minimum of 5 years of

buying experience required; preferably within a CPG, Food & Beverage, Snacking or Confectionary company SAP experience is required; Preferably the SAP S4 Hana Purchasing module Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills are required Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization is required Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times for deliverable Skills
