The HR/Payroll Specialist has a minimum of 2 years experience processing in-house payroll from start to finish. Is an organized self-starter, problem-solver, team player with an attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills. Has exceptional mathematical literacy, experience working with an HRIS, & they are proficient with spreadsheets.

Pay: $27 - $29 / Hour

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience processing Payroll

Strong knowledge base in regards to Payroll functions (accurate preparation, payroll processing, reconciliation, auditing, processing adjustments, making historical edits, processing instant checks & final pay, payroll reporting, etc.).

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.

Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe, email, internet, etc.) and experience with various Human Resources Systems (UltiPro/UKG, ADP, etc.). Typing 40 WPM, 8,000 KSPH (alpha-numeric), 10,000 KSPH (10-key).

Strong mathematical competency.

Proficient in CA Wage & Hour Laws.

Ability to obtain knowledge of and comply with all Federal, individual State, & Local Labor, Employment, & Wage and Hour Laws.
