Due to MSG's continued growth in our Civil/Municipal Division, a new opening is available for a Civil Engineer in our Lansing, MI office

Key Responsibilities

Work in conjunction with licensed engineers assisting with the design and preparation of a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water/wastewater and community projects throughout the Midwest. Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including: Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc. Leading the preparation of transportation design plans/3D modeling for local agency transportation and/or municipal utility projects. Perform and check various design calculations and performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package. Providing technical expertise/guidance to junior staff Preparing special provisions, front end feasibility documents, due diligence reports and zoning studies, project development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates and detailed design plans Pay & Benefits
