Position Description:

An Estimator to lead the company’s estimating efforts to support projects and business development. The estimator will prepare complete estimates for assigned projects directly or through subordinate personnel. They will assist with or perform development of complete bid packages for subcontractors. They coordinate total construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. This includes interfacing with client representatives, engineers, and subcontractors. The estimator also performs technical problem solving for complex construction projects and will monitor subcontractors and review submittals to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, and testing meet the requirements of plans, specifications, contracts, and schedule.

Requirements:

Candidates for this role should have a construction background with experience in crew-based estimating, experience in contracting and pricing or working in an estimating office or environment. They should be willing to be a part of the bidding and contracting for all subcontractors. They should have thorough knowledge of the construction industry to understand all the requirements that go into a project. Excellent opportunity for a veteran candidate that has extensive experience in the construction industry either during service or post service.
