Buyer

System One seeks a Buyer to handle procurement tasks for a leading custom solutions manufacturer. The role involves processing orders efficiently and negotiating with vendors for optimal pricing and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process orders and requisitions according to established guidelines.
• Communicate with vendors to gather product/service details and negotiate terms.
• Select products/services based on price, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure accuracy of specifications.
• Expedite orders when necessary and address any issues with products/services.
• Identify and recommend new vendors, maintain vendor relations, and assist with invoice resolution.
• Maintain procurement records and assist with special projects as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Certification as a Purchasing Professional (CPP) is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, particularly in metal fabrication, is desirable.
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of procurement practices are essential.
