Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures with efficiency and precision
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as needed. Familiarity with intraoral scanners preferred.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records accurately
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent work experience
  • X-ray certification is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Compliance with EEOC guidelines regarding criminal background inquiries
