Senior Software Developer/Software Developer IV

SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team and p rovide software engineering in an Agile development environment as part of an integrated contractor-government team developing software for tactical weapons systems.

Responsibilities

Perform software engineering tasks including:

analysis of specification documents design, implementation, and test of software modules software defect analysis and resolution software component documentation creation and maintenance mentor junior engineers

Required Skills & Experience

Ten years of software development experience Experience with C++

Additional Requirements

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with Linux or Unix as a development platform Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Education: A Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline

Minimum Clearance: Interim Secret ( US Citizenship required )

Location: Dahlgren - On base with 20% telework
