Nooter/Eriksen is seeking a
full-time Process Engineer
to join our
New Product Development
Team. This role is part of a team that is responsible for new product development and ongoing product improvement. This position is located in Fenton, MO. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs.

Nooter/Eriksen is an employee-owned company with headquarters in Fenton, MO and Milan, Italy. We specialize in HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) design, fabrication, equipment, and solutions for clients in the power industry, worldwide.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Process Engineer reports directly to the R&D Manager and will per form detailed engineering studies in support of product development, project execution, and N/E's Warranty group and Aftermarket efforts .
As a Process Engineer with the New Product Development Team, you will
actively participate in both independent and group research and design studies, provide strong technical support with a focus on process design, hydrodynamic, thermodynamic, and heat transfer areas, plan, develop and perform complex experiments to advance N/E's knowledge base and market competitiveness, and generate process design (thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics) and CFD models in support of new product development and R&D efforts
.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS . We want the person selected for this role to be successful The following qualifications are essential to be effective in this role:
BSME, BSAE or BSChE
Some experience in the areas of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and process design with a focus on process, design, operations, base research, and computational methods.
Highly skilled applying process design methods, tools, and theory.
Knowledgeable in calculation methods regarding thermodynamic and hydrodynamic processes and understand their application with regard to product operation and design.
Familiarity with thermal modeling software.
