This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Youngstown, OH area.Core ResponsibilitiesMaintaining commercial cooling systems on Cell Phone Towers - diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.Core ExperienceMust be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.Physical/Work EnvironmentAt Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.Candidates should reside in the Youngstown, OH area.Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.Extensive daily travel with an independent work structure.Driving to remote work sites as needed.Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Regulations.May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
