The primary objective is to create programs for metalworking machines at the Silent-Aire USA facility located in Gilbert, AZ using and expanding upon your existing programming knowledge and computer skills.How you will do itResponsible for maintaining internal database.Use of NC Express/TruTops to create programs for running on the punch machines.Use of Radan- RadNest to create programs for running laser cutting machines.Use of Radan- RadBend to create programs for running on the braking machines.Assist service and support and product development with technical related questions pertaining to equipment and programs used.Maintain the Program archiving process to assure full technological documentation with file path, features and tooling informationOrder parts for fabrication equipment as required.Provide material take off lists for purchasing.Programming/tooling on automated fabrication equipment (ie. turret, brakes, plasma, laser).Assist in troubleshooting issues relating to machine downtime.Contribute new ideas and positive support to improve current processes and productivity.Analyze, design, and develop new sections and tools for the database as needed.Support the Manufacturing Engineers and metalworking machine operators.Assist other staff in special projects as requested by immediate supervisor.Other duties as required.What we look forCollege diploma or University degree in computer technology/science related field, or mechanical engineering design and drafting technology, or a related field.0-2 years of experience in a CNC programming role or equivalentProficiency with CAD software an assetExperience in web design or related IT experience is an asset.0-2 years of practical experience in database administration, development, and web design.Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor is considered a strong asset.2 or more years of experience supporting mechanical products and assemblies in a fast paced environment.Knowledge of networking principles and troubleshootingAbility to develop accurate manufacturing specs in a timely manner.Ability to create presentation drawings with perspectives using Auto-CAD is an asset.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.A tenacious personality that will not let an issue be left unresolved.Interest in developing technical skills through both internal and external training.Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.Strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity.Ability to work occasional off-hours duty to permit timely attention to mission-critical functions.#LI-Onsite #LI-MM1Johnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
