It is a peaceful, scenic, community-oriented area with an abundance of amenities to suit every taste.JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSScheduled Weekly Hours: 40JOB SUMMARY: Provide comprehensive and high-quality care to hospitalized patients with neurological disorders. The scope of services includes diagnosing, managing, and treating neurologic diseases in the inpatient setting only as a consultant with no primary patients or outpatient clinic responsibilities. 7 on 7 off block schedule with flexibility and dedicated hospitalists and nocturnists to cover nights.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Medical Degree from an ACGME accredited schoolMust be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical ExaminersBoard Certification or Eligible for Board CertificationEpic experience a plusPractice-based learning and improvementPatient care and procedural skillsSystems-based practiceAppropriate medical knowledgeInterpersonal and communication skillsProfessionalismPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required.
