**Job Description**

**McKinney Communications Corporation (MCC), an employee owned company headquartered in Homewood, AL, currently seeks to hire a Fleet Manager for its headquarters. This role will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for managing the full fleet of vehicles, primarily full-sized vans, in alignment with corporate objectives.**

**Responsibilities and Duties:**

* **Own all fleet operations from top to bottom**

* **Ensures safe and reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements.**

* **Monitor the fleet age and plan to replace aging vehicles**

* **Coordinate and track a comprehensive preventative maintenance program**

* **Ensure all vehicles have functioning telematics at all times**

* **Track and report on key performance indicators**

* **Monitor and report on transportation costs**

* **Manage fuel cards**

* **Conduct regular audits on vehicles**

* **Keep organized records of vehicles**

* **Ensure compliance with company policies and legislation**

* **Determine our van model for the future**

* **Contribute to team effort by ad hoc projects as needed**

**Qualifications and Skills:**

* **Education: Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED**

* **Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience**

* **Excellent organizational skills**

* **Excellent verbal and written communication skills**

* **Excellent computer skills, proficiency with MS Excel required**

* **Critical thinking ability with a continuous improvement mindset**

* **Track record of working in a team atmosphere**

* **Valid Driver's License**

* **Visits to field offices required (10-20% travel)**
