Class A Driver will shuttle trailers of finished goods and raw materials to plants and cold-storage warehouse. Will be responsible for dropping and hooking trailers and completing yard moves. This job will be 75% driving and 25% warehouse work. This work is located in Altoona, Iowa. The Driver will start and end their shift at the Warehouse located in Altoona, IA. This is a 1st Shift position [7 AM - 3:30 PM] from Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for dropping and hooking trailers and completing yard moves
  • Responsible for shuttlng trailers between plants, warehouses, and customer locations
  • Must maintain a valid Class A CDL license and DOT medical card
  • Maintain excellent safety record
  • Maintain a professional image
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order by coordinating regular PMs with the vendors
  • Responsible for operating a forklift
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Team player
  • Organizational skills
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computer functions on a keyboard
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years over-the-road experience
  • Must be at least 23 years of age or older
  • Must maintain a valid Class A CDL license and DOT medical card
  • Must maintain all DOT qualifications at all times
