We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a New Business Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in West Palm Beach.The Insurance Placement Specialist is responsible for renewal marketing. The teammate will work closely with Producers and Account Managers to develop a marketing plan for renewal accounts.Who We Are: Brown & Brown, Inc. is a growing global insurance brokerage firm delivering risk management solutions and services since 1939. We are driven to set goals high and aim even higher.General Responsibilities: Assist in developing and maintain solid relationships with Carriers and Brokers, as well as internal staffResponsible for marketing assigned renewalsMarkets & places commercial account renewals, negotiates prices and coverages with carriersReview completed submission for accuracy before sending outResponsible for obtaining additional information from underwritersHave open lines of communication with Producers and Account Managers on all accountsReview expiration lists 120 days out with Account Manager and ProducerReview applications and loss runs for submission 90 days outDelegate quotes from incumbent carriers to account managersComplete the Marketing Checklist with the Account Managers or ProducerFollow Quality Control requirements; Maintain account files and oversee that document are placed into appropriate sections for Quality Control guidelinesWork with Producer and Account Manager to develop renewal proposals (to be presented by the producer. Responsibilities may include comparative spreadsheets.Utilize Agency Management System as required by company policyRequired Qualifications: High School DiplomaAssociate's degreeP&C license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)Excellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to write and verbally communicate in a professional manner.Proficient in Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, PP, Office365)Experience in AMS360 and Image Right preferredMinimum 3-5 years of property & Casualty brokerage/consulting/risk management experienceWhat We Offer: Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experiencePaid Time Off (PTO)Generous benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.Employee Stock Purchase PlanTuition Reimbursement and Student Loan Repayment AssistanceMental Health ResourcesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
