Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist proficient in T code and Mazatrol programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set-Up and Operation:
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring parts are machined to the highest quality standards.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
  • Programming:
  • Write, edit, and optimize T code and Mazatrol programs for efficient and accurate machining.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining specifications.
  • Perform program adjustments as necessary to improve part quality and production efficiency.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specified tolerances.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.
  • Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathe machines to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of machining processes, tool usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Document any changes made to programs and processes for future reference.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, with a strong background in T code and Mazatrol programming.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and cutting parameters.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and working at machines.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
