POSITION SUMMARY: Performs activities involving maintenance, support, installation, upgrading, and monitoring of servers and Local Area Network (LAN). Installs server-based software and hardware, resolves desktop, server, application and network-related problems. Leads with the identification and implementation of facility-wide IS/IT projects and licensed software, providing software and technology recommendations.

* This position is PRN, with varied hours every 2 weeks *

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Prefer five years of experience in MIS.
  2. Degree and/or certifications in computers/technological support to support a strong knowledge of computers.
  3. A demonstrated ability in maintaining and repairing computers and/or networks.
  4. Working knowledge base of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  6. Trouble shooting abilities to work with hardware, software and networks.
