Community Association Manager

Job DescriptionA Community Association Manager (CAM) is responsible for providing the overall supervision of multiple associations. The Community Association Manager interacts with homeowners, vendors, board members and committee members, as well as with onsite staff, staff at the Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC), and staff at the branch office. The ideal candidate will be service driven and team oriented, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of the homeowners and residents of the community.Daily responsibilities:Maintain Associa community annual calendar, action item list, resolution worksheets, timed agendas, RFP matrixes, committee charters, procurement procedures, FY operating budget, update resident information, unit and contract files, etc.Inspect property to ensure property is well maintained and follow-up with maintenance staff.Walk property to ensure HOA code and compliance are enforced. Send out violation letters to homeowners.Review monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.Provide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.Oversee AP and monitor corporate and client delinquency rates and collections process for account portfolio.Prepare Board packages and attend Board meetings per the management agreement and community events as needed. Notify the Board of Directors of legal actions involving the Association.Assist Board of Directors/ARB with architectural review process and/or routine inspections as necessary.Oversee special maintenance projects, vendor management, procurement, performance evaluation, inspections, and appropriate follow up actions as required.Other projects as requested.Requirements2+ years of experience in association or property management experience.CMCA, AMS, PCAM preferred, or willingness to obtain.Knowledge of the role of the association board, the Community Association Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners.Professional customer service skills, communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.), MS Office skills, and business correspondence skills (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented; time management; conflict resolution techniques.#LI-PK1Company DescriptionWith more than 300 branch offices across North America, Associa is building the future of community for more than 7.5 million residents worldwide.
