Job Description Job Description Position: Microwave LeadPay Rate: $22.00 /hourlyLocation: Tracy, CASchedule: Monday - Friday + Some Saturdays | 5:45am - 2:30pmJob Description: Guided by our principals of Mutual Respect, Trust, Teamwork, Communication, and Responsibility, the Microwave Lead is responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities within their department. This person must be able to undertake a combination of physical and mental work that ranges from filling out paperwork to production assembly lines and helping their team complete orders. This individual must multitask, provide quick responses/solutions to unforeseen production problems, and must always exhibit a professional, efficient demeanor.Duties and Responsibilities: Is aware of what need to do and what theyre responsible for to maximize quality and productivityCompleting paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the production line, from updating records to show whats been completed to noting any issuesAssign tasks based on what orders have come in and which members of the team are working on each day.Set up production line to complete these orders efficientlyMotivate their team and show support and guidance when necessaryRelay clear instructions and procedures so that all tasks are completed accurately and on timeEnsures all production machinery operates smoothlyAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problemsInspects products to verify conformance to specificationsEnforces Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulationsFollows all safety guidelines; Reports any work-related injuries to HR as soon as possible (no later than 24 hours)Monitors production floor for any safety hazards and reports issues to Production Supervisor and/or HRAnswers radio requests; Responds to questions and solves problemsInforms Production Supervisor of whereabouts, attendance, and activities; Proactively identifies problems and potential problems, and offers possible solutionsRequired to fill various rolls on production floor including, but not limited to, Operator, Wrangler, Stager, Packager, or any other line job as requiredShows respect and sensitivity toward cultural differences; Promotes a harassment and discrimination free environmentAdheres to Company Policies and Procedures; Upholds and supports Companys organizational goals and valuesEducation: High School Diploma or GEDQualifications: 3 to 5 years experience with Meat ProcessingUSDA TrainedAdvanced knowledge of GMPs; HACCP CertifiedBilingual in Spanish/EnglishMust be able to give and receive orders and instructions to production line workersShares expertise with others; Remains open to others ideas and tries new things; Is open minded and objective, trustworthy, honest, and ethical; Demonstrates a positive and productive attitudeGives and welcomes feedback; Applies feedback to improve performance; Contributes to building positive team spirit; Asks for and offers help when neededStrives to continuously build knowledge and skillsStrives to increase productivity; Completes tasks correctly and on time; Uses time efficiently; Looks for ways to improve and promote qualityAssesses own strengths and weaknesses; Accepts responsibility for own actionsObserves safety and security procedures; Uses equipment and materials properly; Reports potentially unsafe conditionsDemonstrates consistency, reliability, accuracy, and thoroughness; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goalsAbility to read, speak and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos; To effectively present information in one-on-one and small group presentations to management, small groups, co-workers, and other employees of the Company ; To speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; To listen to others without interrupting and seek clarificationAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10s and 100sAbility to gather and verify information, recognize, and define problems, analyze findings, draw conclusions and present solution#J-18808-Ljbffr
