Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in financial management and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing mentorship to junior team members.

Duties: - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets - Conduct month-end and year-end close processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies - Mentor and train junior accounting staff - Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes

Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards - Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., PeopleSoft) and MS Excel - Experience in private equity or financial services industry is a plus - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
