Job Description InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a Head of Engineering for a neurostimulator / active implant start-up in Boston, MA.
InnoTECH Staffing is thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Head of Engineering to spearhead innovation at a dynamic medical device startup in the vibrant hub of Boston, MA. As we embark on our journey to transform healthcare, we need a visionary leader to drive engineering and systems integration initiatives, propelling our prototype device from inception to widespread commercial success.
As the Head of Systems Engineering, you will be at the helm of our engineering endeavors, orchestrating the seamless integration of hardware, firmware, and software elements. Drawing upon your extensive experience in the medical device realm, particularly with neuro stimulators or active implants, you will guide our team through the intricate process of taking our device from clinical development to full-scale commercialization. Your expertise will be pivotal as we navigate FDA quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and meticulously maintaining our Design History Files.
We're seeking a trailblazer with a BS degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years in the medical device industry, including at least 3 years of managerial experience. Your leadership will be instrumental in nurturing talent, driving manufacturing enhancements, and fostering robust relationships with our valued suppliers. As an individual contributor with a penchant for rolling up your sleeves, you'll be instrumental in steering our engineering efforts, while also overseeing testing protocols and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
