Our contemporary, privately-owned office doesn't have marble floors and chandeliers but they are kept very clean and very organized. We do have great imaging and the best materials and instruments. Rotary endo, implants, digital scanners, etc. Excellent well trained and personable staff. We are about 18 minutes away from Logan airport. Responsibilities: - Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients - Provide comprehensive dental care, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix, or other dental management systems - Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs Requirements: - Valid MA state dental license - Graduation from an accredited dental school - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Proficiency in using, Dentrix, or other dental management systems - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Knowledge of Epic or other electronic medical record systems is a plus Here is a more formal description: *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. This role involves performing a range of dental procedures, from routine check-ups to complex surgeries, while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for patients. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs. * Perform general dentistry procedures, including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. * Execute specialized treatments such as endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery as required. * Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures. * Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care. * Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in the clinical environment. *Skills* * Proficient in dental terminology and medical documentation practices. * Experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. * Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and techniques for treating children effectively. * Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health and medical imaging procedures. * Ability to perform dental extractions and manage complications effectively. * Familiarity with infection control standards within a dental clinic setting. * Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally. * Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is highly desirable.
