We are looking for a Manager of Merchandise Financial Planning to join our Orchard Brands team. This role will be based out of our Middleton, MA office which operates in a flexible hybrid work setting.

As the Merchandise Financial Planning Manager, you play a leading role in supporting the Merchandise and Inventory Planning Teams by providing meaningful analytics for all four of our Orchard Brands. You are responsible for using data driven analysis to drive financial, merchandise and inventory plans/forecasts as well as in-season reporting and action plans. The Merchandise Financial Planning Manager is a collaborative, strategic leader who not only influences the financial growth of our Brands but also invests in the growth of our Teams through cross functional training and support.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Reporting & Business Analysis:**

* Partners with the Director of Inventory Planning to analyze Merchandise and Inventory Metrics and develop action plans to achieve company financial goals.

* Provides timely, consistent, relevant, and actionable data analysis to support business decisions.

* Leads the Analysis and Reporting for Receipt Reconciliations, In Stock Percentages, BO Fulfillment, Promotional Results and Inventory Aging and communicates to the Leadership Team.

* Oversees a Merchandise Planning Analyst who provides support through detailed reporting and analysis, special projects and ad hoc requests.

* Provides GM% analysis to support Pricing and Markdown strategies throughout the product lifecycle.

* In collaboration with the Liquidation Manager, leverages Marketing and Ecommerce strategies to ensure profitable movement through excess and obsolete product ownership.

* Partners with the Inventory Planning teams to streamline and standardize Inventory Reports across Orchard Brands.

* Facilitates reporting migration to Business Intelligence reports where applicable.

**Merchandise Financial Planning:**

* Collaborates with Finance and Inventory Planners to develop and maintain Open to Buy, Receipt Planning and Forecasting on an Annual, Seasonal, Quarterly and Monthly basis.

* Executes high level communication with Finance and Marketing to ensure Inventory Planning/Merchandise owned metrics are being incorporated into Company Plans and Forecasts.

* In collaboration with the Inventory Planning and Merchandise partners, drives new processes and procedures including managing the testing and rollout of Time-based Planning Initiatives.

* Partners with Merchandising to facilitate hindsight reporting and analysis. Uses data to lead target setting and category financial planning for future seasons. Incorporates KPIs (Demand, Receipts, ST% Turns, AIR/AUC/AUR etx), Brand Growth Strategies and market conditions in the analysis.

* Manages Buy Review Rollup and Reporting processes with Merch and Inventory Planning Team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Bachelors Degree in Business or related field and 7+ years of proven success in same/similar role or a combination of Education and Experience.

* Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SQL. Experience with CWD/F21 a plus.

* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to break down complex topics for Senior Leadership.

* Well-developed interpersonal and relationship skills as evidenced by successful cross functional collaboration and the ability to influence, train and develop teams.

* Proven ability to strategically analyze situations and prioritize based on scope and urgency.

* Effective Project Management skills with the proven ability to engage in the full life cycle of a project.

* Strong business acumen with a well-founded background in strategy, analytics and Retail Math.
