Conducts and participates in periodic audits of grant accounts. Participates in closing procedures and other year-end operations. Prepares estimates and statements of account. Prepares detailed statistical reports and analyses. Participates in special accounting, financial, and procedural studies. Examples of Other Duties May train, lead, or supervise professional and clerical accounting personnel. May coordinate or supervise a specialized accounting function. Performs other related duties as required. OR Possession of an accounting certificate from an accredited college or university. Plus Five years' experience in accounting, auditing, or bookkeeping, at least two years of which were at the professional level. (Education in accounting beyond a bachelor's degree may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required experience.)
