Position Summary: Nautilus Solar Energy’s (“NSE”) Business Development Analyst will establish relationships/partnerships with local community organizations in their community solar market(s) driving new subscriptions, maintaining existing subscriber relationships and brand development. The analyst will maintain these relationships and be collaborative with the community solar team and various levels of management. Research will be conducted on competing organizations, industry trends and customer demographics. This position reports to the Community Solar Sr. Sales Manager. This position is salaried full-time, 40 hours per week. It is currently remote. Primary Responsibilities and Functions: Must reside in Maryland or Delaware. Establish relationships/partnerships with local organizations. Local government/schools Commerce groups Environmental groups Non-profit organizations Provide education on all aspects of community solar. Responsible for lead generation. Responsible for meeting quarterly sales goals. Track and report sales results monthly. Evaluate and improve subscription/sales strategies. Analyze customer trends to refine outreach strategies to meet subscription/sales goals. Perform competitor analysis to stay at the head of the market. Implement and maintain customer communication and feedback channels. Analyze business operations and strategies for your market and increase market share. Act as a liaison between business development team, management team and customers for systematic and procedural implementation of new opportunities.
