The Opportunity
- Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians.
- Current VA state license is a plus.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
The Practice
Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center - Midlothian, Virginia
- 220-bed hospital with 16 open ICU beds.
- Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and STEMI Receiving Center.
- Annual volume of 7,000 with an average of 13 admits per day and 10 admits per night.
- No procedures required unless desired.
- Onsite labs and imaging.
- Variety of sub-specialty backup available including anesthesia, cardiology/EP, infectious disease, Heme/Onc, and more.
- State of the art facility with recent bed expansion and renovation.
The Community
- Situated in Chesterfield County, Midlothian, Virginia, is an unincorporated village just 14 miles west of Richmond that's known for its proud coal mining and railroad history, old churches, and unique shops. Today, it's a community that combines historical ambiance with modern amenities.
- Midlothian offers a four-season climate experience with temperatures ranging from 70 to 89 degrees in the summers and 29 to 47 degrees in the winters.
- For those who love the outdoors, Midlothian has a multitude of options such as the Historic Tuckahoe, Swift Creek Reservoir, Bosher Dam, along with several parks including Midlothian Mines Park, and Robious Landing Park.
