The base hourly rate for this position is $24.14

The Shipping & Receiving Fork Truck Driver performs various duties, including, but not limited to, loading and unloading flat beds or van/containers, verify and document count and condition of receiving goods, properly stacking of products.

The job requires the driver to change LPG fuel tanks on the truck, lifting the tanks considerably above the waist level. The job requires accuracy of inventory by checking documentation and/or conducting inventory cycle counts. Participate and complete all company training programs for Safety, Company Policies, and plant rules. Responsibilities and job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

DUTIES

Follow Job Safety Analysis, always use safe work practices and report hazardous conditions. Wear protective clothing and equipment as required. Inspect forklift for proper operating condition using check list before operating truck Inform Supervisor of any malfunctions or safety problems with the equipment or of any necessary maintenance to be performed. Operate lift trucks properly and safely in and around building and equipment. Read work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine work assignments Inspect loads for torn bags, missing labels, broken pallets and broken boards. Notify Supervisor of issues to prevent customer complaints. Move materials and supplies to and from warehouse storage areas, tiering as required. Inspect and verify all incoming loads when unloaded and confirm quantities and product against packing slip. Stack product in warehouse per stacking locations, avoiding mixing of products to prevent inventory cycle count and mis-ship errors. Store and stack materials in a neat and orderly way. When moving empty pallets or skids to designated areas, stack empty pallets at proper height, maximum height is 6'tall. Assist production departments as required. Keep equipment and area clean and orderly at all times, per 5S schedule Perform other duties as assigned.
