Type of Remuneration:Daily Rate Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre is seeking physicians to join their hospitalist team. The hospitalist team is comprised of family physicians with an interest in inpatient care. Full and Half line options available. Schedules are 7 days on, with 1:4 call for overnight coverage. Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre (CRHCC) opened to patients in 2002. It provides high-quality, efficient care to residents of Amherst and surrounding areas as well as specialty services for residents of Cumberland County.Located in Upper Nappan just on the outskirts of Amherst, CRHCC offers a wide range of programs and services including primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient, and satellites: Services: ambulatory care anesthesiology cancer and supportive care cardiac respiratory services chronic pain services dietary and nutrition services internal medicine laboratory services medical and surgical unit mental health and addiction services obstetrics and gynecology occupational therapy palliative care physiotherapy Responsibilities

acceptadmissions from the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Maternal Child Unit (i.e. infants), and transfers from other facilities participate in call responsibilities be available to care for all patients within the hospitalist program when on call respond to calls from the nursing units in a timely manner (10-20 minutes) Expected Hours

Full line and half line available. Frequency can be negotiated. 8am-5pm daily, 7 days a week for the week you are scheduled.
