We thrive on providing exceptional customer service, and we look for friendly professionals dedicated to helping customers achieve their financial goals.Position Summary The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for keeping records of loans and leases in bank computer system(s).Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide servicing for all types for loans - Commercial, Equipment Finance, Mortgage and Consumer.Input and ensure new and renewed note information meets quality standards.Compute interest and principal payments, and payoffs on loans.Process loan payments, including participation remittances.Monitor various reports to determine validity of information.Reconcile various general ledger accounts.Maintain the bank's lender placed insurance.Process non-accrual/charge-off loans.Process incoming wires.Verify and correct E-Oscar disputes.Maintain escrow accounts.Process paid in full loans and release collateral.Check in new consumer and mortgage notes and collateral.Research and resolve customer inquiries, including paid in full loans and collateral.Perform monthly reporting and remittance to various investors.Promote and implement the bank's sales culture and service philosophies.Perform other duties as assigned.Experience & EducationAssociates Degree preferred or a combination of banking experience and/or degree.At least six to nine month's banking or related experience preferred.Skills & Abilities RequiredDetail oriented with strong organizational skills.Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here may be encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.
