• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for price, inventory levels, payment, and delivery.
  
• Purchase production raw materials to ensure on-time delivery, expediting and deferring deliveries as needed.
  
• Request quotes from suppliers and source alternative suppliers to optimize product quality, customer satisfaction, and cost.
  
• Create and manage reports and schedules, maintaining required inventory levels.
  
• Develop and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers, resolving issues fairly and ethically.
  
• Create Purchase Orders in accordance with quality system guidelines related to ISO 9001:2015.
  
• Manage and issue monthly supplier scorecards and forecast planning reports.
  
• Communicate with production and project team members to determine needs.
  
• Participate in corporate Supply Chain Initiatives and project work, including low-cost sourcing projects and actions associated with Engineered Product Offerings (EPO's).
  
• Resolve invoice and receiving issues.
  
• Work closely with other departments daily.

• Minimum Associate Degree in a related field and 2 years of purchasing experience, or 5+ years of purchasing experience.
  
• Working knowledge of MRP system planning.
