Transmission Line Engineer The Transmission Line Engineer is responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of high voltage transmission lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as experience working with high voltage equipment.
Responsibilities of the Transmission Line Engineer include:
- Designing and planning new transmission lines
- Overseeing the construction of new transmission lines
- Maintaining existing transmission lines
- Troubleshooting and repairing transmission line problems
- Working with other engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of transmission line
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working in the power engineering field
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Experience working with high voltage equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
