Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:This position works as a liaison between engineering teams and business objectives to support Engineering Product Lifecycle Management data, applications, and processes. The position supports the commercialization of products and the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of applications that support engineering teams.ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES: Executes change orders using product data imports, interfaces, data mapping, data cleansing, and data loading using various tools. Resolves issues and identifies the root cause within existing software portfolio which includes Agile, Oracle EBS, Oracle Configurator, and OBIEE. Provides detailed technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions related to engineering applications. Takes direction from cross-functional teams to understand and document business objectives, documenting actionable insights for the engineering team. Identifies inefficiencies and areas for improvement within engineering processes. Develops and implements strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Assists with integration and commercialization of product data for new product launches, business acquisitions, and product sustaining activities. Assists in project management by tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring project goals align with business objectives. Assists with the BOM structure development, modeling, and rule development for configured product.SECONDARY DUTIES: Creates comprehensive documentation of engineering processes, procedures, and best practices. Monitors and ensures the quality of engineering deliverables, identifying, and resolving issues as needed. Acts as a liaison between engineering teams and other departments to ensure alignment with business strategies.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 4 or more years' experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. 3-5 years of experience working with Product Lifecycle Management systems and Oracle Applications: e.g., Oracle EBS, Oracle Agile, Oracle Configurator, OBIEE.COMPETENCY and/or SKILL: High level understanding of Item and BOM structure in a manufacturing process Strong debugging, analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and business users Ability to work independently or collaboratively Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to the co-op group.
